Legal Information Network for Cancer, or LINC, is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to helping people with the business side of cancer.

Serving the Central Virginia community, LINC provides information, education, counseling and referral services for legal and financial assistance to individuals confronted with the overwhelming issues that arise from the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

For many people, a diagnosis of cancer can mean much more than a medical problem. It can present countless financial and legal issues, like sustaining income or employment, obtaining necessary medical treatments, or receiving insurance coverage.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the resources to deal with these problems. That was why LINC was formed.

We are able to connect our clients with the right people and organizations who can free their minds and lives from the trouble of legal or financial concerns—allowing them to focus all of their strength on fighting their cancer, or in some cases, live their final days with their families, free from worry.

Diagnosis of cancer means so much more than a medical battle. We feel no one should have to face cancer alone.
